Newborn photography gathers the most tender moments of those early days — tiny quiet stretches, the softness of sleepy smiles, and gentle cuddles when the world still feels brand new. Every frame becomes a small celebration of life in its most delicate form.
Newborn sessions are best captured within the first 5–14 days, when babies are at their sleepiest and most settled. Sessions can take place anywhere up to three months — whether nestled in your home or wrapped in the calm of my Doreen studio. These sessions move slowly and gently, allowing the day to unfold in its own rhythm.

01 begin here
It’s best to book before your baby arrives. I take on a limited number each month so every family receives flexible care. Your due date is pencilled in, and once your baby is here, we choose a time that feels gentle and right for your recovery.
02 timing YOUR shoot
You’ll receive a thoughtful session guide to help you feel ready — what to wear, how to prepare, what to expect. If you’d prefer to talk it through, we can schedule a short call. Everything is designed to feel easy. No overthinking required.
03 PREPARING SIMPLY
Sessions usually take place in your home or in my studio, usually mid morning. I offer calm guidance while leaving room for real moments to unfold — feeding, settling, cuddling, siblings drifting in and out. Nothing forced. Nothing performative. Just your family as you are.
04 on the day
Your gallery is delivered within three weeks. You’ll receive a curated collection of images to download and revisit — the kind that feel like memory, not performance.
05 Gallery Delivery
If you’d like your images to live beyond a screen, you can order prints or heirloom albums directly from your gallery. Everything is produced through a professional lab and delivered to your door — ready to hold, frame, and keep.

Newborn sessions are about your family welcoming this new chapter. The studio comfortably accommodates parents and siblings, creating space for connection without feeling crowded. (Extended family sessions are best suited to outdoor locations.)
Can i include my partner and other children?
There is no rush here. I work gently and responsively, allowing time for your baby to settle. Some of the most beautiful images happen in the in-between moments — awake eyes, tiny stretches, the way they rest on your chest.
What if my baby is unsettled?
Yes. If spreading payments would make things feel more manageable, just reach out and we can arrange this quietly and simply.
